I survived my midterms! One with flying colors and the other with an okay grade. Now, I am feeling the stress coming out of my system. I can't even put myself to blog but I need to post this video that my Kuya sent. My brothers are not really showy with their emotions but you know that they have been always there to protect me, especially my eldest brother. He makes sure that my parents, Dico, me, Titan and Ethan are always okay. He would give and do anything for all of us. Kuyang-kuya talaga! He can get mushy at times especially on occassions such as Mother's day but makes sure to inject a little humor in his every mushiness.Watch this video he sent me with his mother's day greetings. A MUST WATCH! hahaha! This is really awesome, I have probably said half of this to Ethan and he's only 3 LOL!
I truly madly deeply miss my family that sometimes looking at family pictures are too painful to take, I ended up crying. Pathetic I may sound, but I just can't stop myself from missing them. I hope I can fully adjust with this separation. My kuya and I have the same birthdays and photos below were our last birthday celebration together in 2005. He moved in Canada in early 2005 and is now in California. I am hoping that we'll celebrate our birthday this year together. ***Crossing fingers once again.

I still can't put myself to finish my Polaroid School Paper due in less than 24 hours!!! I made the Abstract and the Conclusion, but the frikkin' body and the framework, can I skip those parts? I have another one which is due by Friday plus 6 chapters of book to analyze. So this is Graduate School, huh? Hee! Anyhoo, I tried to entertain myself after finding inspiration HERE and I was definitely entertained by this LOL! I miss all my gayfriends!
We both think too that SuperNanny, Jojo resembles Lindsay Lohan without the glasses and with her hair down. What do you think? Heee! We lurve her accent!
A lot of my friends and even relatives are asking me if I still sleep! hahaha! Of course I do, beauty sleep 1st before moolah ows! But I am just gifted with multitasking supercalifragilisticexpealidocious prowess that I could manage tons of activities with 1 head and 2 hands. Half of my day mostly in the mornings, my life is like a washing machine ahahahahah! labo labo with housechores, opps, ethan and some pa-cute on the side pa ha (read: breakfast on the lakeside with matching amoy amoy ng flowers while reading wallstreet journal). I still manage to sleep at least 5-6 hours a day. I love sleep. I just don't know how to sleep before 3am or 4 (siguro jetlagged pa rin ako after all these months LOL!). Tell me how and I'd really really try that. Before heading off to slumberland, HERE's SOMETHING that gave me a big LOLz, daliiii read it! Nytynyt. Toodles, later.
So this is the 2nd part of THIS ENTRY. I had no pictures to show of the 4 celebrants (hubby, tito edmond, michael and silver)-birthday-party last sunday, but I tell you the handa was really a hit. It was 14 all in all, major panira ng diet. Hubby and I feasted on Tita Babes inasal na manok ala Joel Torre style. We were all too lazy and busy eating to take pictures and since we get to see everyone else every weekend, remember the clan's feast day weekend! Like I said, I didn't get hubby any gift for his birthday as we were always together whenever we go out and we check on each others bought stuff, no way to surprise him. He's the kind of person who is really hard to please when it comes to gifts, if you can't afford his wishlist: read: Omega Watch and LCD TV, never mind. Although he very much appreciates customized gifts such as scrapbooks and the like. The more simpler/well thought of and grander like his Omega Watch, the better, no mediocre gifts for him. However, I saw this post of Peachy and decided immediately to grab an inspirational book for him at Barnes&Nobles online store. Tamang tama, swelduhan ng OPPS hahaha! However, it turned out to be my next online shopping adventure and bought books not only for him but for myself and the little boy as well. Here are my book grabs and some advices when buying books at Barnes & Nobles online.
these I got, shipping was fast and these books fell under the FAST & FREE SHIPPING
the only books of Sophie Kinsella which I don't have, addict ako sa kanya!
I actually finished 1 book in 2 days already. Siguro iniisip niyo na kung natutulog pa ako LOL!
I wanted the hardcover of Remember Me? So to have a picture of my most loved author, THE SOPHIE KINSELLA, i love her dress by the way! beetle prints!
and these for the little boy, he has Goodnight Moon already but for some reasons, I can't find it and it has been his routine before sleeping that I read that book to him, medyo magwawala sya pag wala yung book sa bedside niya.
I Intend to let Ethan learn how to read some few lines from the pop-up Happy Birthday To You Dr. Seuss book before he turns 3 on May 1! Challenge ito!
And this I got for hubby, I paid a FRIKKIN $3.00 for the gift wraper and the card with printed personalized message for him, not worth it noh? The book is part of Oprah's Book Club, A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.
and this bubble wrap has no silbi, medyo nayupi some parts of the books I purchased huhuhu. I treasure my books pa naman.

PPS: DON'T BUY THE PRE-OWNED BOOKS because if you're going to add the shipping cost, pareho lang ang total with the new one which are sometimes free shipping.

I was sooo excited watching the premiere and even my son was watching with me and he kept saying the whole time "mommy, wow girls wow girls!". I was a bit disappointed at first because it was full of catfights and screaming girls! Not to mention that I find the school-theme-set-up a bit Hogwarts-imitation corny lol! But then again, as the show ended, the girls personalities get more interesting. I already have my top 3: I am booting for The girl who undergone circumsion in Somalia, the girl who graduated from an Ivy League school and a girl with the prettiest face! Let's see if I change my mind.
Here they are the ANTM Cycle 10 Winners! and oh yes, make-up does a lot of wonders! Ahem!
Here they are the ANTM Cycle 10 Winners! and oh yes, make-up does a lot of wonders! Ahem!
I have to rush-up with all these OPPS!
As I have blogged it HERE, I am soo ready with ANTM's Cycle 10 which will premiere tonight. And as I turned on TV, it has already started (well this is a back entry for some filling in to do, you know what I mean if you're into paidblogging LOL!). The show actually started at 8pm. So anyways, catch up with everyone later and blogging is postponed for an hour as my eyes will be glued on the tube! Will give you my feedback after watching the premiere. toodles.

After bombarding you with series of paid entries, I might as well give you an update of me. Though, I still have 16 more backlog OPPS and it's just Tuesday, you know Wednesdays are for raining OPPS. I've had enough for the night as I have proudly grabbed my very 1st $50 dollar OPP! I never imagine paidblogging could be taxing at times, (lest, maintaining 2 blogs!) it has indeed become a career for me, I just turned 3 months last February 16 and I must say I did an excellent job in paidblogging. I could have started this way way earlier. But regrets are for losers. Hubby and my son learned to adjust with my so-called working hours at home. They really do.
>>>The reason for my less entries is I have been trying to sleep healthy meaning eliminating the insomniac in me. I have a recurring migraine caused by staying too late in the computer. As I have blogged HERE, I started a sleeping routine by sleeping at 9pm and waking up at 6am. But as predicted, I hate mornings and I ended up spending more hours in the bed! Sleeping early and not meeting my 0PPS requirement every night makes me cranky and doubles the migraine the following days. And so, I am back to my sleepless nights slash morphs into my insomniac being. Hence, the absence of bloghopping, but I promise to bloghop this week not later than friday!

>>>For some reasons, I have been helping hubby's Doctors-Aunts and Uncles slash our wedding godparents in their job search, they moved from Germany and Immigrated here. Unfortunately, both of them are so overqualified and they have been rejected by companies and universities for being very well-experienced surgeon and gynecologist. They have been using my laptop while I assist them in their online job hunt and this afternoon, they accidently tweaked some of the settings of my YM beta version(i think) and when I logged in, my YM just messed up. Only the YM vista is working but I just hate this version. So for everyone, who messaged me, I did not receive any. I'll try to download beta version again tomorrow. Hopefully it works!

>>>Lately, I'm just getting sick of all the networking sites, read: FRIENDSTER, MY SPACE, MULTIPLY, FACEBOOK (most especially). I don't know why, maybe nagsawa na lang ako. I feel it's very impersonal, I would still appreciate personal emails over testimonials and long conversations and hugs over looking at a friend's pictures. This Facebook is really getting into me LOL! I am thinking of cancelling my account. They have been emailing updates and friends requests, dati wala naman. Siguro dahil magdadalawang buwan na akong di nag checheck. I was hesitant to log in this morning coz I might be traumatized with the requests, and guest what, when I logged in, I got 521 requests!!!! And you have to ignore them one by one. MAJOR CHAKANESS!

>>>I so badly want to watch these 2 movies with my girlfriends back home, especially with my MG family. Movie life here sucks! boohoo! I miss all of you, sawa na ako manood ng DVD with Titan lol! I want girlfriends movie sidecomments naman and tsismisan after. Uwi na ko lol!

>>>and lastly, I have re-watched the reruns of ANTM Cycles 1-9 to get ready for the Cycle 10 which will premiere on Wednesday, February 20 woohoo!!! I missed my photoshoots everytime I watch ANTM. Hay naku! Senti senti. Read more as I blog it HERE!

o siya sya, that's it pancit. gotta go! bukas naman!

Hi everyone, I'm still alive! It looks unusual as I have not been posting here in my main blog very often (read:more than 2 entries a day). I will be giving more updates to what kept me busy during the hours that I wasn't blogging here. (But I was in my Detour Blog.) Anyhoo, for those who were asking if it really was worth it to buy your own domain especially in terms of PPP opps. My answer is ABSOLUTELY YES! After I bought my own domain for my detour blog, my wifespeaks family blessed me with not just a subdomain or merely masked domain but actually an own domain. After mama mee's and mel's tweaking, they discovered that http://em.wifespeaks.com is already my own domain yoohoo! Can you just imagine that, both of my blogs are my own domains already? I emailed all the paidblogging sites and they were quick to update my URLs. The very 1st effect of having your own domains, was when I logged on to PPP this morning, I got about 12 White OPPS! You know what white opps meant right? And for the very 1st time I was able to grab a single opps worth $50! And not to mention SR's 100% bidding approvals for own domains. So all the mommies out there, it won't hurt you a bit to buy your own domain, afterall the cost is just equivalent to a couple of opps! Go ahead and get yourselves your own domain. Happy blogging to all of us!
Oh before I proceed with my OPPS backlog catching up, I forgot to mention here that I bought a Domain for my DETOUR BLOG! yesterday. Oh yes I did, I just can't resist the OPPS temptation lol! So everyone, please update your links, my new Domain name for my other blog is: http://www.mysomethingpurple.com.

As I was browsing photos that I will be using for some fillers, I saw this photo LOL! It really made me laugh! Working at a diplomatic mission could really be fun lest be in the visa section, which means every celebrity who applies for a Visa gets to take a picture with you hahahha! Look at how thin I was and I swear mas gwapo si kuya dick kay diether hahah! I'll try to look for the other celebrity photos I had and post them here. That is something to look out for.

You know, in our lives, there certainly are bad days and good days, and today is one of my bad days. I didn't even feel like blogging, but since I had about 4 opps to complete and I can't still sleep I might as well spend the rest of my night writing and earning money. Hubby was so kind to bring me to the mall for some shopping spree, it's also my day off for taking care of Ethan and doing all the housechores. So as soon as we mall hoped, he was in-charged of Ethan. I bought myself very nice 2 pair of jeans and 2 headbands from Gap which were really really cheap! The best time for Sale here (for clothes. bags. shoes etc...) is after Christmas, January-February and there aren't much people in the mall which is actually very normal in malls here as compared to malls in the Philippines, but this month mas nabawasan pa ng tao. Of course, gadgets sales are still best on the Black Friday Sale after Thanksgiving. The total amount of my Gap finds was only 1/4 of the shopping budget that hubby gave me, instead of shopping for myself, I bought 5 shirts for my brothers and some cute clothes for Titan's nieces and nephews. Ethan went home with a lot of toys and activity sets for our teaching sessions, I am alotting 2 hours a day for reading, play doh, flashcards and coloring starting tomorrow. That's me shopping, when I'm in my bad mood, I can't really shop for myself even if all the biggie clearance sales and nice stuff are right infront of me. Hubby must be relieved. The only consolation I got today is I found out that I'm size 2 now from being size 4, next goal size 0, as if!
It's funny how hubby can read my mind. Everytime we do something unique or has happened to us, he would always comment bny saying: "iba-blog mo yan ano?" hahah! There are times too that he would warned me by saying: "pls. wag mo i-blog ito ok?" lol! Tonight, before he hit the sack, he asked me to update His Friendster Profile/Skin and photos. You see, he is my exact opposite. He is far from being an internet addict. I would constantly remind him to check his emails because he's too busy to reply to them nor surf the net. So when we surfing PYZAM for his friendster layout, he got all excited choosing from the various skins choices. Parang bata! I was laughing the whole time as he already reserved layouts for spring, summer and fall! Check out his friendster to see his version of winter layout lol!
I got really lazy last night and ended up watching DVDs with Titan instead of completing my blogging to dos. We watched Juno, it was a feel good movie but I dare not recommend it, as it makes teenage pregnancy look really cool and a very normal circumstance. Ayayay! nakakatakot mag raise ng daughters dito!

and I cried buckets watching The Bucket List. This, I highly recommend to watch at least once in your life. As in! Cherish the little joys you have in life and exude that joy in others. That is how it is to live a happy life!

I'm excited for tomorrow as hubby will be having a long weekend off! Yipee! So far our plan includes completing and packing our very delayed 2 balikbayan boxes. Now back to regular blogging mode.

Yesterday, I was both shocked and saddened upon hearing the tragic death of the very sexy and witty Heath Ledger. I heart him when I saw him in the movie Four Feathers, for the first time and even made a 5-paragraph essay about him in my MySpace account upon watching the movie. I found him really adorable in 10 Things I hate About You. Too bad that depression can lead to drugs and eventually kill such a talented and beautiful person like him. No wonder a lot of gorgeous girls were swooning over this man. His last movie BATMAN: The Dark Knight will be shown on July 18 which he plays as The Joker. Good thing the movie has been completed already. You can watch the trailer HERE. I just realized that I have fascination over Australian Actors and Actresses, my all time favorites include Heath Ledger, Clive Owen and of course, Nicole Kidman. Hmmm trivial!
Then, when I checked my inbox, I got this! Such music to my ears. My paidblogging hardwork paid off! yey yey!

I was having my usual rounds of bloghopping of my favorite SIKAT blogs. Then I saw this in The Baghag Blog! Oh my gulay, nahulog ako sa upuan ko. This got to be my perfect LV bag collection. A Something Purple LV collection lol! I mean, this was made for purple, lilac, lavender, violet-lovers like me. JUST US! Hay naku! And it's available in our very on LV GREENBELT store! bilib na ako sa fashion sense ng Pinas! Angat talaga! If only I have the money waaahh! Kahit yung wallet lang haha! Jane , paki-ask mo naman how much please just for my curiosity's sake lol!

TADA! It's here! I have been collecting Starbucks Journal for 5 years now, yes from the time they launch the promo. I started hunting for one here, but unfortunately they have this promo only in China, Indonesia and of course, our beloved Pinas. I wished for the 2008 Starbucks Journal in my other blog since I have no other means to have it. You can read how much I begged for it here.
and suddenly an angel in the person of Nyree granted my wish HERE!
After much anticipation it is now on my own hands. Read the arrival story here. This will be my new bestfriend next to my laptop because things I don't write in my 2 blogs will be placed here. Oh yes my life is not an ultra open book if that's what you think, especially after my mom has cautioned me of identity theft lol! as if!

I'm so jealous of you xbox 360! or ekbak (as how Ethan would pronounce it). Eversince you came into our lives, you have been getting my son's and husband's attention! You are the 1st thing my husband check on when he arrives home! When I run out of activities and games for my son, he turns to you! I don't get you, you're as possessive as PS2, PS3 and videogames like those. You evolved too fast, from xbox, you're 360 now and then there's guitar hero! What's up with you? You're every where, in every house I go to! But, it's okay just keep my boys company so I'd have plenty of time to blog LOL! And this is the only place I beat my husband in every game and made him number 2 after making myself the number 1!

In less than a week, the cast is now complete and with matching casing pa! (nevermind the crayola scrathes) Of course Ethan played with these and some have scratches already, how can these be considered collectibles if they do not look brand new!

Since, my husband can't get enough of these, he's completing another set all for keeping purposes only. Can't relate? Read my previous entry HERE.

Another thing that I accomplished before New Year was to clean, I mean really clean Ethan's play area at home. As I was doing it, I've noticed that Titan have arranged Ethan's collection of Disney Pixars Collectible Character Cars. He admitted afterwards that he really likes to collect all the characters not for Ethan but for him LOL! Ethan loves his big Disney Cars over these small ones. Well it's really a wise thing to do as this type of movie cars are seasonal only and can be real collectibles when Ethan grows up.

Then I thought of recommending some of the best toys for toddler boys and girls as proven by me. He did received a lot of toys this Christmas but we boxed some of them and wait till they're appropriate for his age and so he'd not be overwhelmed too. I honestly do not want him to grow up with plenty of toys and sorrounded by videogames, but I can't say no to gifts right? So we just have to minimize putting out toys in his play area. Here are some of my top picks!
I love this hotwheels carry case for Ethan's hundreds of hotwheels, these thought him to keep his cars as well as his other toys after playing. It will teach your kids organizational skills as the hotwheels have different sizes and they will learn how to fit the variety of hotwheels car sizes in these.

This leapfrog phonics pond is teaching very well Ethan how to spell and his alphabet. He could listen to it on his own. He has this both in the Philippines which we left and here, a gift from tita joy. Thanks tita!
Of course these racing tracks from Disney Cars and Hotwheels are Ethan's favorites. He learn how to set this easy set up racetracks and this is how I thought him his ordinal numbers, 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc... He learned the art of competition also, that there is a loser and a winner and he has to be always fair when playing with his cousins because it is just a game.

This huge remote control jeep thought Ethan to navigate but we had to keep it as there was a point he wanted to crash some cars! I think this should be played at an appropriate age.

Of course lots of books! And this table and chair works as his school area hence there are no color marks on our walls or in our linens. This is the only place where he could doodle.
and lastly, the Leapfrog Clickstart. The moment I saw this on tv, I knew this would be our Christmas present for him. It is quite new and the cartridge software are running out of stocks. He stopped tinkering with my laptop as this comes with a mouse too. You can turn your tv into an educational tv just connect this clicstart computer and you're child is playing his 1st computer while learning too!

Okay! Okay! Other than the fact that our server was down for the whole weekend, I've been wanting to have a REAL social interaction beyond online. I veered away with my laptop for 4 days as being on the internet 24/7 is just making my homesickness worst. (I turned down a lot of opps, would you believe that?) I went out and explored my current environment, prayed a whole LOT and was back into my own senses and is trying to live one day at a time. Like my husband usually tells me "we have a choice to make our present happy or sad", I am making mine a happier and grandest one! Whenever I feel homesick (which is not so often anymore), I sing and dance to the tune of Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield, and everytime I do, my son would shout "Mommy, stop sing pantene!" LOL! But, it helps.
I just watched Charice Pempengco on ELLEN today! Grabe she was awesome! Galeng ng batang ire! I wonder if she grew up in a rich, average or poor household? Enlighten me please. How I wish I was her make-up artist and stylist too! I'm proud of you kiddo!
Christmas cards have been flooding my inbox and mailbox, and I miss receiving small gifts from home which I excitedly used to count everyday till christmas day/opening of gifts. But surprisingly, I didn't know that big gifts could reach me even this far. I got these gift packages from my friend Joy from Kentucky and my kuya from California. Thanks thanks! We sure love those gifts and thanks for remembering us this holiday. Finally, I bought stamps yesterday, and those christmas cards and pictures are out for mailing.
Last night at the family's dinner, Tito Edmond played loud Christmas music and we had a good dance with Ethan. It surely releases those christmas sadness I had in my system!
