The weather is starting to be really unpredictable again. We are currently on a 30s-40s, seems like winter on Spring and the next day will be to hot. All I want to do is sulk in the bed. My son has been taking 2 naps a day too, he seemed to be really lazy playing around and all he ever wants to do is laze around the bed because of the current cold weather. When my son was almost 2 years old, I had doubts that he has ADHD or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. He is such an energetic boy and was always running around and restless. It was quite surprising that for the past days, it has been raining so bad here and my son has never stopped singing "rain, rain go away..." everytime he sees the rainfall. My son is one unhappy person when it's raining because he cannot play in the backyard nor can we have a stroll to the nearby playground. But, I like it when it rains here because for the past weeks, it has been really hot. With the rainfall and all, the weather is becoming colder. The latest Tornado disaster happened in Suffolk which is just 20 minutes away from where we are. I have a flickr account but I seldom use it. I remember how surprised hubby's cousin was when I told her that I'd rather use my multiply account in uploading photos over flickr. She said that I could store more photos in flickr without them adjusting the size of the pictures. I didn't know that. I have noticed that some flower suppliers are taking advantage of special occassions particularly Valentines and Mother's day. The prices of flowers at these time of the year are just skyrocketing. That's why sometimes men would rather spend their money on certain gifts such as bags, perfums or just cash in exchange of flowers. But for me, I feel most loved and special when hubby takes time to drop by a flowershop and get me a stem of rose or a bunch of wildflowers. While my son, hubby and I were watching Transformers the Movie (this is a 2x a day routine for all of us, that's how addicted our toddler is with the movie ), my son blurted out all of a sudden, "baba wook! But in the movie, engine nor transmission were not mentioned. I am so stressed this week, having to juggle school deadline with apartment requirements and Ethan's 3rd birthday! I was chatting with my good friend, Che this morning. She's Australia-based and I do miss her A LOT. Too bad we had to cut short our chat session as we both have obligations to attend to, I was preparing breakfast for Ethan and she was attending to her baby, Carl. I would really love to visit Australia and visit her along with my other friends, Tin and Sharon whom I haven't seen in such a long time. They say going to Australia is not really costly as the Accomodation in Sydney, Accomodation in Melbourne, Accomodation in Brisbane and Accomodation in Brisbane are affordable.
I have gathered some Sydney and Melbourne photos from Wikipedia that would inspire me to set aside travel funds for me and my family sooner than targetted. Look at the famous Bondi Beach in Sydney, wouldn't it be nice to relax there and experience the Sydney summer heat. A visit to Sydney Opera House and Luna Park would also be lovely. Melbourne's Chinatown and the manicured London Plane trees lined up in the streets of Melbourne are such good photo opps. Yesterday, I was chatting with my mom and was telling her that for 3 days now we have been alternating our rice meal with mashed potatoes and corn. There has been a shortage of rice in our area, the only available rice is brown rice! Don't get me wrong, I love brown rice, it will help me lose all those extra 9 lbs in me, but I cannot simply purchase them because it is only me who eats brown rice at home. Apparently, my mom told me that there has been some rice shortage back home too. She said that she heard from the news that there is indeed a global food shortage. Many of my friends are on the way for their baby #2 or are trying to conceive their baby #2. I am so envious! Actually, me and hubby are so envious hahaha. Holiday gites in France would make me feel like I am watching a chapter in Chocolat. That would be really romantic and would give me a complete feel of the French Culture. Hubby and I could rent a Private holiday villas in Perigord Noir or those Perigord Pourpre holiday gites to rent. For now, let me put that in my dream travel destination list as this list inspires hubby and me to work doubly hard.
